Quirky, and one off pottery items that will make uniqueand affordble presents!

Well, what can I say?Two things! 1. I am not known for my creativity or art an 2. I blame my pal for what was what I thought was a fun one off birthday activity....became my hobby and now starting my Folksy shop!!!! You see, it is my pal that is into art - in all forms. She upcycles furniture, makes sculptures, creates abstract paintings and exhibits her work. She then takes me to art galleries and then gets embarrassed if I become too vocal with my thoughts on the paintings!!! Anyhow, I decided to buy her a four hour pottery for her to try her hand at using a pottery wheel - oh and I went with her!

Not only did we have a lot of fun (and left wearing quite a bit of clay) I found for the first time in a long time I was so focussed in what I was doing that I forgot the stresses of the world - I was literally off the treadmill of life for that section of time!!

Roll on to Chrismas Day 2024 , and there in a very large box was my own pottery wheel!!!! A few lessons later, I started making my own pots - with mixed response. However, with a lot of trial and error...and patience pottery has become my go to/my happy place and helped me over come the grief of losing both my Daisy dog and also my Dad in a short length of time.

The pottery I want to create is all hand crafted here in North Wales and is designed to be both practical and affordable. Because it is hand crafted, it is unique and a little bit funky - as you will never see two things looking exactly the same! I am proud of what I have created and I want you to love what I produce too - always from the heart and made with love.

Seven months in, I now have an assistant called Lily......our very own Cockerpoo puppy....!
