I weave my landscapes, finding inspiration in the colour and texture of the places I love. Soft, natural shades in this series of soft Shetland lambswool scarves was inspired by my favourite summertime haunts of the North Yorkshire coast, particularly Staithes and Robin Hood’s Bay.
I work from my home in the Peak District making scarves, blankets, cushions and accessories. My designs are inspired by traditional Scandinavian and Japanese weaving with a modern, minimal colour palette in the finest natural fibres.

This is a beautiful square scarf inspired by the Staithes festival. Staithes is my favourite place in the UK which is why I wanted this scarf. It’s woven very finely and the addition of the little coloured squares done by hand is gorgeous - it must have taken ages. My one tiny piece of feedback is there are a few skips in the weave - this isn’t an issue in itself as the item is handmade, but the fact it was not disclosed at the point of sale is an issue for me. I am also a weaver and I wouldn’t have sold the piece without explaining this to the buyer.
