I started my brand Flowers for Susie 6 years ago and initially it was a charity fundraiser raising money for the AMMF in memory of my mum who passed away 7 years ago. Over the past 6 years I've created many different designs, developing one project a year, to raise money for this amazing charity. 3 years ago I discovered lino printing and Flowers for Susie as you see it now started to form in my head. At the end of 2019 I was made redundant after 16 years as a lighting designer and I knew it was now or never if I wanted to change this once a year charity fundraiser into my business.
I started in earnest in April 2020 right in the middle of lockdown and have spent 2020 homeschooling my children whilst slow developing my brand. I now have a small but growing range that I can continue to grow in 2021.
I will never forget the AMMF and so each year there will be one design launched in September that will raise money for this amazing charity.
