I love creating textile art and first embarked on this medium some years ago.
Using a variety of printing and decorating techniques, working on paper, fabric and used teabags. I am inspired by the countryside and the flowers and grasses that are in the garden. There is a mixture of hand and machine embroidery in my work.
I am lucky enough to have a studio at home, where I can go and work. Overlooking the High Street with the daily comings and goings of village life.

These little notebookjournals are absolutely gorgeous, so vibrant and colourful and filled with different kinds of papers. And they are such good value for money, cheaper than a cup of tea and cake out, and so much nicer to have. Now I am going to have a think about what to put in them- maybe some very special stamps, or some little sketches of textile ideas. Many thanks Catherine x

Such a lovely card which I'm saving for my husband for Valentine's Day. I love finding cards that are a little bit unusual and this little work of art fits the bill perfectly.
