I'm Ekaterina Findlay, an abstract artist based in Devon, UK.
My journey began in architecture, where I spent many years designing and delivering a variety of commercial projects. But painting has always been my true passion — something that’s been with me since childhood.
As an intuitive artist, I’m inspired by the natural world around us. My work explores what lies beneath the surface — emotion, memory, and personal perception — inviting each viewer to find their own meaning in the work.
My art is mostly inspired by the beautiful South West coast where I live, as well as by memories from my travels around the world.
I work mainly with acrylic mediums on canvas and paper. This technique allows me to dynamically build up layers and capture a sense of the energy and power of the nature.
