Dog Treat Pouch
SurlyNotASewist?£4.99
Hello there!
I'm bill. About 5 years ago I needed a groundsheet for my tent. So I bought a £50 sewing machine from Argos and some fabric and made one. I've loved sewing ever since.
I've owned a few different sewing machines over that time and have finally settled on a 1937 Singer 201K and a more modern Bernina 570QE. These two machines do everything perfectly.
I've made quilts, cushions, shirts, shorts, trousers, dresses, blouses, dog coats and all sorts of things.
I'm now in college learning sewing (for the things I still haven't figured out) with a view to doing it professionally.
Why the shop?
Well, as much as I love sewing, there's only so many things I can make for family, friends and myself before running out of things to make. Another venture I've started is making syringe driver bags for Bolton Hospice. These bags carry machines which deliver medication 24/7 to patients and due to cross contamination risks, only one bag can ever be assigned to one patient, so Bolton Hospice and others across the country need lots of these.
My hope is that my little folksy shop will generate the income needed to fund these bags.
Buy a pouch = save a life...maybe :)
If things take off, I'll be adding other sewn thingybobs so keep those eyes peeled!
Thanks for visiting!
Bill.
