Handmade for humans - one of a kind, 100% recycled silver jewellery

Hello! Thanks for visiting, I'm Ali and I live in Wales by the sea.

I started silversmithing after watching a blacksmith working a pop-up forge at a festival – it was fascinating - metal is so beautiful! I took a series of silver classes to learn some techniques, set up my own small silver bench, and slowly built a collection of traditional tools so I could keep practising, juggling my time between working for a charity and creative writing for my PhD.

I love the mindful process that is working with metals. Silversmithing requires patience – waiting for solder to flow, sawing smoothly, the rhythm of hammering – it all requires slowing down and breathing, and it calms my neurodivergent brain too.
Mostly often my designs come together organically, as I love creatively re-using off-cuts and textured pieces. I work with 100% recycled silver, and use sea glass that I find on beach walks. All of my jewellery is packaged in sustainable/recyclable packaging as it’s gentler to the earth.

My inspiration comes from the textures and forms of nature or special commissions, each one teaching me something new. I love to make beautiful objects that connect people or tell a story, especially the alchemy of words and silver. My jewellery is very personal - perfectly imperfect and one-of-a-kind unique! – and crafted with care.

Whenever I form a ring or texture a surface, I’m using the same tools that have been used for generations. I think about this legacy and tradition of all the silversmiths who have been before, and I feel so lucky to be practising this still. Now. in the middle of my life, I feel like I’m finally forging my own form and flow. So thank you for visiting my shop & supporting this!
