Fused and blown glass treasures, all handmade with love by me in my Whitstable garden studio.

I spend my days blowing and fusing glass in my Whitstable garden studio, in between multiple tea breaks.
I love living by the seaside and I draw my inspiration mainly from nature. I am as likely to be found in my garden as my studio where I often use plants as a starting point for my designs.

My garden is my sanctuary, raising plants from seed in my potting shed adjoining the studio, following the seasons, tea breaks in my hammock, it’s a wonder I ever leave the house at all! I grow certain plants specifically for drying to add them to my blown glass baubles and I’m always increasing my range of everlasting flowers.

I studied Silversmithing and Jewellery at Glasgow School of Art and it was experimenting with coloured enamels on silver in 2007 that fired my interest in the possibilities of glass. I still make the occasional piece in silver but my adventures in glass in all its forms is definitely my passion.

I create colourful fused glass hanging decorations for your home and garden. My fused glass jewellery comes in every colour of the rainbow but I also have a range of matt finish, muted colour designs which have a beautiful, tactile quality reminiscent of sea glass.

In 2015, deciding that kiln fired glass wasn’t quite dangerous enough, I acquired a bench torch and began teaching myself how to blow glass. It’s a massively steep learning curve with many bumps (and burns!) along the way but I reckon I’m getting there! My unique, gift boxed, one of a kind blown glass baubles are available in my Folksy shop.
