Demelza Designs jewellery is registered with the National Association of Jewellers(NAJ) and abides by their professional customer charter. They are the U.K’s trusted leading authority within the jewellery retail and trade sector and recognises worldwide. The term 'precious'and 'semi-precious' for gemstones is no longer recognised by the GIA and other leading bodies within the jewellery industry, therefore it is not used to describe any Demelza Designs gemstone jewellery.
Man made turquoise(reconstituted) is disclosed at the point of sale and not miss sold as genuine turquoise! Genuine turquoise is described as 'stabalised' and recognised by the GIA as a genuine gemstone mineral. It is considerably more expensive in all grades within the jewellery trade worldwide. Rule of thumb if its cheap it's not genuine turquoise, buyers please be aware.
The majority of all gemstones have had some form of treatment to enhance their appearance. For trusted information the GIA provides a good educational list of treatments used within the jewellery industry worldwide on their website.
Gemstone beads used are carefully selected for their cut, colour, clarity, rarity and availability. Each gemstone piece of jewellery is therefore individually priced accordingly.
All gemstone strands are tested for their authenticity by qualified GIA gemstone gemologists by Demelza Designs gemstone suppliers. You are guaranteed to receive what is being described in item descriptions and not to receive fake imitation gemstone jewellery.
Demelza Designs prides itself to produce quality hand crafted jewellery for all budget ranges with each piece receiving the same attention to detail during its design and making processes.
All gemstones are purchased from a trusted British business registered with the NAJ. Their gemstone cutting houses are based in Jaipur, India.
Only high quality freshwater pearls including Baroque pearls are used based on their natural even lacra formation, shape and size. Pearl strands can be in the hundreds of pounds, so comparison to cheaper pearl jewellery should be carefully considered before purchasing as the quality will not be the same!
Earring findings are compliant with EN1811:201 standards including nickel free. Findings are purchased from trusted suppliers registered with the NAJ wherever possible.
Baby knitwear is designed and hand crafted by Demelza Designs in Cornwall meeting UK baby safety standards, Only branded premuim acylic, acrylic/natural fibre blends or pure natural fibre yarns are used in baby knitwear which conforms to BS984/76 standards.

I made a pair of earings like these for my best friend's birthday. Every time she waers them strangers stop and ask her where she purchased them from, so she has persuaded me to make more for my Folksy shop. My dear friend is over 60 years old, so they really do apply to all age groups!

Full description
These bright colourful earings have been created from my own hand made decorative polymer clay beads complimented with a yellow magnesite gemstone bead. Between them are quality silver plated spacer beads and silver plated hooks. Other colour ways are available in my earing section.
They would make a lovely small gift for any age group and skin tones especially if you have problems finding quality gifts at a reasonable price for someone who you know likes to add colour to accessories their outfits.
I have also designed and hand made the earings presentation card to add that touch of individuality. The earings will come in a sealed plastic bag for viewing purposes (should you wish to return them for any reason )and wrapped in bubble wrap .Please refer to my returns terms and conditions for earings.
All oreders are dispatched within 24 hours of receiving payment confirmation from paybal Monday to Saturdays exept bank holidays by Royal Mail 1st Class in the UK or the equivalent for overseas countries as listed below. A proof of postage will be obtained.
