I Jessica FAUCHOIX am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.
When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Folksy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Folksy, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Folksy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

When you buy from UpUp-K, you're choosing more than just a handmade accessory — you're supporting a thoughtful, sustainable way of making. Each piece is carefully crafted from second-hand or repurposed fabrics, giving new life to materials that might otherwise be forgotten. You’re also helping to reduce waste, support circular fashion, and celebrate slow, intentional design. Every UpUp-K item is unique, full of character, and made with heart — from my hands to yours.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
6.1 We want you to be completely satisfied with your handmade accessories from UpUp-K. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, please read our returns and refunds policy carefully.
6.2 Eligibility for Returns: Handmade accessories can vary slightly due to their unique nature. We accept returns within 2 days of receiving your order, only if the item is unused, in its original condition, and with all tags and packaging intact.
6.3 Custom and Personalized Items: Custom or personalized items are crafted specifically for you and may not be eligible for return unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival. Please contact us within 2 days if you encounter any issues with your custom order.
6.4 Initiating a Return: To initiate a return, please contact us at j.fauchoix@gmail.com within the specified return period. Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and, if possible, attach clear photographs of the item.
6.5 Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the safe return of the item.
6.6 Refund Process: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within 2 days and will be credited to the original method of payment.
6.7 Non-Refundable Items: Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund.
6.8 Exchanges: We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process outlined above and place a new order for the desired item.
6.9 Issues with Received Items: If you receive an item that is defective or damaged, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue and may provide a replacement or issue a refund.
