“I’ve always been a creative soul, and after earning my ceramics degree, I found immense joy in teaching pottery. However, a diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus caused significant pain and weakness, making ceramics too physically demanding to continue. Instead of giving up my passion, I adapted. I discovered polymer clay was much gentler to work with, allowing me to keep creating even on painful days. This journey of resilience is poured into everything I make.
