So many good things about this bag. Lightweight, great shape which lies so comfortably across the body, and it holds an amazing amount. Great attention to detail, wide strap which doesn't carve a groove into the shoulder, sturdy zip and excellent leather zip pull. Beautifully coordinating lining. Excellent service. Perfect!

Had this bag made for me on request. It takes a small purse plus phone, unbrella, folding mac, small power block and leads, and also either a thin paperback or my iPad, without being 'a big rucksack' Perfect for me travelling into London for a day out.

I just LOVE this bag. This is my second purchase and each time Alison makes a new one, I'm tempted again! It's the perfect size for all the stuff us women have but manages to stay beautiful and stylish and not clumpy and boring. I love the denim as it goes with everything and all the seasons too. Extremely well made and the linings are a gorgeous touch. You won't be disappointed!

I love my new bag recently purchased from Macclesfield Bag Works. It is exactly as described with lots of extra pockets inside which helps when organising its contents. The oilcloth fabric has been stitched very precisely - the straps being reinforced where necessary - and has all my favourite colours. My order was dealt with immediately and I was kept informed as to when to expect delivery. Thank you Alison for this quality and sure to be ‘well used’ bag!

As a mum I am very happy with this bagpack. The pattern is very beautiful and the material is waterproof so is perfect to take all the babies rehusable nappies and changing clothes plus your items, such as wallet, keys, personal planner, period pads, mobile... for a walk using the sling or baby carrier in a rainy day.
