Welcome to FlameKnits, a fusion of glass and yarn.

My name is Heather and I love to make stuff. After years of crafting with all things wooly, a chance encounter at a craft fair lead me to starting Lampwork - making beads by melting glass in a flame. A few more years down the line and I had more beads that I knew what to do with and was back at the knitting. Combining the two hobbies with stitch markers and orifice hooks for spinning wheels seemed obvious and so FlameKnits was born!
