Full description
A knight standing guard in a tower - this little fabric card is ideal as a birthday card for a toddler or young child. Blank inside for you to write your own message, the card can also be used for other occasions such as starting school or to send a special note.
This is part of my zero-waste range, where I use small offcuts of fabric to create beautiful little gifts. Each card will be slightly different, depending on which part of the fabric I am using.
I fussy cut the image of the knight from fabric left over from my playmats and quilts, and backed it with an offcut of thin wadding. I used a machine quilting technique to add relief to the outline of the knight, and the castle turrets, giving it a slightly 3-D effect.
The fabric is mounted in a tri-fold aperture card in quality white cardstock, and comes with a matching envelope.
