Knitting Mousie is made from coffee dyed cotton fabric,with glass bead eyes and nose Her arms and tail are jute.She is sat on a vintage wooden cotton reel and measures about 10 from base to ears.I made the little knitting needles from cut down satay sticks, which I then tipped with tiny slivers of dowelling ,and, hardly lost any of my thumbnail when i was sawing them. I used dish cloth cotton for the knitted piece (which I'm quite proud of as I'm not a very good knitter) , the ball of 'wool' is stitched to prevent it from unravelling.
